Nick and Norton are art gallery owners who enjoy coffee and cocktails as they solve mysteries set in the San Francisco art world.
Nick is tall, slender and greying at the temples. A San Francisco native and Stanford graduate, he was an officer in the Army serving in intelligence. A Seattle native, Norton is short, muscular, and impulsive. He too was an officer in Army intelligence. When they got out of the military, Nick and Norton married and opened an Art Gallery in San Francisco. With a strong sense of justice and “doing right”, the two men follow the clues where ever they may lead.
Kate Brookside is Norton’s big sister. She is on a journey of exploration. Wrongly accused in the Purloined Picasso, she will feature in future stories with her brother and his husband, as well as stories of her own.
